The client required CS2’s expertise in planning, building regulations, building pathology, construction cost and project management. CS2 delivered the transformation of the external elevations with tenants in occupation in the offices and co-ordinated works with the retail occupier undertaking fit-out work on the ground floor and basement. An acrylic finished render system was used to create a minimal maintenance and uniform finish to the elevations above the retail space. The system was designed in conjunction with the shop front and fenestration to create improved vertical emphasis to the building contrasting with shadow lines and spandrel panels in grey. All of the works were carried out externally with minimal repairs and making good internally, limiting any disruption to the occupants..
