The existing tenant expressed the need for additional space, and the client took on board its construction, with the tenant committing to a new lease. Part of the design included accommodating the tenant’s future use of the space. The building is currently used for secure storage and therefore the logistics of maintaining security and safety whilst the existing building was fully occupied were complex. CS2 were appointed after the design was complete and the preferred contractor appointed. We were involved in agreeing the collateral warranties, compiling the contract documentation, liaison with the various consultants and tenant’s representatives. CS2 also assessed all valuations and issued formal instructions and certification.
