ING Real Estate appointed CS2 to project manage the reinstatement, repair and refurbishment of the existing 35,000 sq2 office building to a high standard to facilitate the letting on a full repairing and insuring lease. As part of the works a substantial upgrade of the mechanical and electrical installations was undertaken to achieve a carbon reduction of 50%. Further sustainability considerations have been included within the scope of the project. A feature entrance and reception were created to improve the appearance of the building and provide future flexibility should the building be converted to a multi-let site. With a budget of £2.5 million, tenders were received with an average level of £2.25 million.
